The short meeting is Wednesday, December 4th at 6:30pm, located at the Clover Island Yacht Club.

Being in the parade:
We love to have boaters participate in the Christmas Lighted Boat Parade!  We are looking forward to having lots of boats in the parade for 2023.

The parade is open to all willing boaters who can meet the requirements shown below.

There is NO FEE to be in the parade!  However, participants will supply their own decorations and fuel.  Your decorations can have a theme or just be a bunch of lights thrown on the boat!  There are, currently, no rules for decorations.

Saturday night, after the parade, there is an Awards Party up at the Clover Island Yacht Club.  Prizes are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place boats and every boat participant gets nice gifts!

Parade Participant Entry Requirements

1.  Have a properly registered, motor-driven, vessel capable of safe travel in cold temperatures during dark hours.

2.  The vessel operator has a State Boater Safety Card, if required.

3.  The vessel meets all requirements for on-board safety equipment.

4.  The vessel has on-board, an operational VHF marine radio.

5.  At least one (1) operational Carbon Monoxide detector on-board if a generator is in use during the parade.

6.  The vessel operator MUST attend the "Skipper's Meeting" for a safety briefing at the Clover Island Yacht Club.  Details will be e-mailed to participants.
